Around these parts Tommy Jett made “Hey Now” as well known as actor Matthew McConaughey’s “Awright, awright, awright.” Tommy was not just a “radio announcer” or “disc jockey,” he was a true “showman and entertainer.” RIP.
Loved that man. Worked with him at my very first radio job in Dalton. WTTI. Then again at Oldies 101.9. Learned a couple things. His Elvis stories were fantastic.
